The Professional Achievement in Respiratory Care (PARC) is a $1,800 scholarship established to support senior students in the Respiratory Therapy Program at National Park College in Hot Springs, AR.
To be eligible, you must have at least a 3.0 average in both your prerequisites and your respiratory therapy courses and be entering the second year of the program. You must also be a member of the American Association for Respiratory Care and the Arkansas Society for Respiratory Care. (Links below.) You may become a member of these associations during this application process.
To apply, pick up an application packet from Paul Lowe, Director of the Respiratory Therapy Program at National Park College. Complete the application form and attach a cover letter explaining why you think your should be the recipient of the scholarship. Also include two signed (no electronic signatures please) and dated letters of recommendation. Completed applications are to be returned to Mr. Lowe. Due date to be annouced in the spring . PARC scholarships for the senior class of 2025 will be announced by the beginning of the Fall term.
Please note that neither Mr. Lowe or Dr. Burke may provide a recommendation letter for you. Your GPA and membership in the AARC and ASRC will be verified during the review process. Qualified applicants will go through an interview process with two or more of the Foundation Board members.
